Perrott held a number of posts at the University of North Dakota, including Instructor in Latin and Greek (1891-1899), Assistant Professor of Latin and Greek (1899-1905), Assistant Professor of Latin (1906-1908), Associate Professor of Latin (1908-1911), and Professor of Latin (1911-1916). SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

The George St. John Perrott Papers consist of one undated Christmas card from a “G.P. Burleson” to Perrott, as well as one book of verse, Gems for the Bridal Ring, which was published in 1868. Also included is one letter dated April 27, 1917, to an “Aunt Mab.” This letter was sent from Pettibone, North Dakota. Since this letter was written after Perrott died in 1916, its relation to Perrott is unknown. One undated photograph of Perrott was separated and placed in the Orin G. Libby Photograph Collection. All of the materials in the collection were found in a Grand Forks home and donated to the University in 1985.
