ACQUISITION: The John Eades Papers were transferred from University Archives in 1987 (Acc.#87-1538).

BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

John Dan Eades received a Master of Arts degree from the University of Kansas. He joined the University of North Dakota as an Assistant Professor in the English Department during the Fall 1970 Semester. His last term at UND was in the Spring Semester 1975. Eades returned to campus, however, to organize the 1985 Writers Conference while Professor John Little was on leave.

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

The majority of the John Eades Papers are undated. The papers consist of syllabi and examinations for various courses taught by Eades, student advisement materials, and curriculum committee materials dating from 1970-1973.
