INTRODUCTION

ACQUISITION: This addition to the Otto Krueger Papers was deposited in the Orin G. Libby Manuscript Collection in December 1981 (Acc.#81-929). The material was originally part of the North Dakota Biographical File.

ACCESS: Available for inspection under the rules and regulations of the Department of Special Collections.

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This addition to the Otto Krueger Papers dates from 1953-1958, and consists of a series of newspaper clippings covering significant events in North Dakota from January 1957 to October 1958. Subjects of interest include lignite coal and oil deposits, federal farm programs, Garrison Diversion, and historical anecdotes with special emphasis on the Marquis de Mores and Theodore Roosevelt. The addition also contains indexes to the bills, resolutions and other legislative materials of the 83rd, 84th, and 85th Congresses of the United States.
