SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This addition to the George Winship Papers consists of a photocopy of Winship's typescript autobiography. Events described include the Sibley Expedition of 1864, the Riel Rebellion, the Davy Expedition of 1867 and numerous Red River Valley and Grand Forks happenings. The photocopied typescript dates from 1882 and is not complete. The holder of the original is unknown.
