ACQUISITION: This addition to the Vilhjalmur Stefansson Papers was deposited in the Orin G. Libby Manuscript Collection in August 1987 (Acc.#87-1555). The originals are held by the Dartmouth College Library.

ACCESS: Available for inspection under the rules and regulations of the Department of Special Collections.

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This addition to the Vilhjalmur Stefansson Papers consists of Stefansson's diaries from 1906- 1918, reproduced on 3 reels of microfilm. Reel #1 contains the diary from the Anglo-American Expedition of 1906-1908. His diary from the Stefansson-Anderson Expedition of 1908-1912 is reproduced on Reel #2, while the Canadian Arctic Expedition of 1914-1918 is located on Reel #3. The originals are held by the Dartmouth College Library.
