On the day before the start of the fall semester of the 2007-2008 academic year, about 4,000 students, faculty, staff, and friends donned T-shirts to pose for “The Photo on the Green,” launching activities to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the founding of the University of North Dakota. Numerous special events are planned for the observance. It will be a special time to celebrate the intellectual spirit, creativity, and dedication that have guided this institution from its beginning. To learn more about these events, go to the University’s Web site by clicking on the “UND 125” logo.
