Collette Wins NIGMS Travel Award
Katie Collette, a graduate student in the Department of Pharmacology, Physiology, and Therapeutics, has won a travel award to present her data at the Fourth Biennial National IDeA (Institutional Development Award) Symposium of Biomedical Research Excellence in Washington, D.C. The symposium is sponsored by the National Institute of General Medicine Sciences (NIGMS), a component of the National Institutes of Health. The NIH is the nation’s medical research agency and the largest source of funding for medical research in the world.
