Technology to host digital camera workshop sessions

If you want to learn more about your digital camera, how to take great shots and then how to edit those images in Photoshop, you’ll want to attend these workshops sponsored by the Graphics and Photography Society (GaPS), a student organization in the Department of Technology.

From 4 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, in 235 Starcher Hall, you will learn tips and techniques on camera operation and how to get those great shots. Make sure to bring your digital camera and lab manual. Then, from 4 to 5 p.m. Thursday, April 15, in 235 Starcher Hall, you will learn how to enhance your photographs by applying basic editing functions in Adobe Photoshop software. Make sure to bring your digital images. These introductory workshops are open to all students, faculty, staff and community members who have any type of digital camera. The cost is $5 per workshop, which can be paid in advance or at the beginning of the workshop.
