Conflict Resolution Center offers training in nonviolent communication
The Conflict Resolution Center will offer foundational training in nonviolent communication May 31, June 1, 2, and 3. Special UND staff/faculty rates are offered. Space is limited, so register today.
In anticipation of this life-enhancing event, we are providing weekly concepts in Nonviolent Communication (NVC) that anyone can use in their daily lives.
NVC Concepts - Week #3: Teaching, parenting, and supervising all require the ability to manage groups of people in ways that meet the needs of everyone in the classroom, the home and the workplace. Many of us struggle and are frustrated when our students, children and employees fail to take responsibility, resulting in discipline that is too often ineffective, adding to our stress. Nonviolent Communication offers a new way to think about how we interact, make requests, and take responsibility in these environments. Learn how we meet individual and collective needs by taking the threats, demands, and accusations out of our language (it can be done).
Come to one or all four days of the Foundational Training in NVC. Register by Calling 777-3664 or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Find out more on our web site at http://conflictresolution.und.edu.
