Weight-Watchers at Work: new EERC location
This is the last week to gain all benefits by joining the new Weight Watchers at Work program at the EERC. Meetings are Tuesdays for 16 more weeks. Weigh-in begins at 11:45 a.m., and meetings run from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m. Contact Kim Ruliffson, Work Well, at 777-0210 if you have questions, or  you can just attend the meeting and ask.

Start Walking Scavenger Hunt:
The warm weather is approaching us (and hopefully staying with us) which can only mean one thing: time to lace up those tennis shoes, start walking and enjoy the fresh air. On Wednesday, April 7, the American Heart Association will be celebrating National Start! Walking Day and you should too. Wear your sneakers to work and you’ll be one “step” closer to being ready for a walk. In honor of National Start! Walking day, come join the fun and participate in the Work Well Start! Walking Scavenger Hunt from noon to 1 p.m. April 7, (Don’t worry, you’ll have plenty of time to catch lunch before or after the walk). The starting location will be on the first floor of the Union, where you will receive your first clue. Each clue will direct you to a new destination, a heart-healthy snack along the way, and a chance to win a free massage at the Wellness Center. This is not a race, just a fun way to get you up and moving.

Keep on walking and register for the Work Well Walking Challenge 2010. Get your teams together now. You can participate on your own, or in teams of 2, 3 and 4. This challenge will begin April 19 through May 16. Registration is open from April 5 through April 13. Check out www.workwell.und.edu for more information.
