Bookstore reminds faculty that spring adoption deadline is Oct. 21

It is again time to consider your adoptions from the spring semester with the adoption deadline of Oct. 21 fast approaching. This deadline helps us source more used books and prepare for book buyback, all efforts to save students money; it also helps us support the campus in being compliant with Higher Education Opportunity Act provisions that require campuses to provide book information to students at the time of registration.

As you are considering spring adoptions, we encourage you to keep in mind the unique course material formats available. We again expect textbook rental to be popular with students, but we have also noted an increased interest in CafeScribe, our digital textbook solution. If you would like to learn more about CafeScribe or want more information on the ways Follett can help you develop and implement a digital course material strategy, we invite you to join our upcoming free webinar. To meet demand, the webinar will be held at 1 p.m. on two different dates: Tuesday, Oct. 25, and Thursday, Oct. 27. To register, visit or if you prefer, you can come to the Bookstore and watch the webinar with us in our classroom and enjoy coffee and cookies provided by our Tower Café.

Thank you for your partnership.
