De-stress with Inner Peace and Stress Relief sessions Dec. 8
The Conflict Resolution Center is sponsoring Inner Peace and Stress Relief workshops. Join us Thursday, Dec. 8, to de-stress from work and holiday madness. The schedule follows.
- 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.; Yoga with Carol Murie. Come a few minutes early to set up for this nice, easy and relaxing class. Bring your own yoga mat if you have one. Class limited to 15.
- 9:30 a.m.; Break
- 10 to 11:30 a.m.; Meditation Practices with Lora Sloan, director of the Lotus Meditation Center. Discover sitting and walking meditation methods that fit your lifestyle.
- 11:30 a.m.; Break
- Noon to 1 p.m.; Watch your waistline by exercising Mindful Eating taught by Lora Sloan at the International Center. Bring your own lunch; water provided.
- 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.; Kristine Paranica, director of the CRC, will lead a workshop on stress management, focused on family and holiday gatherings.
