University Senate will host Aug. 7 meeting to discuss campus security services
Due to recent changes in the personnel of the campus police force, Vice-President for Finance and Operations Alice Brekke has initiated a review of campus security services.
Working with the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Officers, of which UND is a member, Brekke has arranged for the IACLEA’s “Loaned Executive Management Assistance Program” (LEMAP) to aid in this review. Consultants from LEMAP will be on campus Tuesday, Aug. 7, and as part of the review process. The University Senate has offered to host an open meeting with interested faculty members so they can share their views on all matters related to campus policing.
All interested faculty are invited to join in this discussion with the LEMAP consultants from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, in the Memorial Union Memorial Room. For those who cannot attend in person, but who would still like to participate, this forum will be turned into a webinar. Please access the webinar at https://conted.breeze.und.nodak.edu/campussecurity/.
If you plan to attend or have questions, please feel free to contact Jim Mochoruk at firstname.lastname@example.org or 777-3381.
