Provost candidates announced

The Search Committee for the Provost  & Vice-President Academic Affairs position is delighted to announce that after an extensive search, which resulted in the establishment of a strong pool of applicants and nominees, it has invited three candidates for on-campus interviews.

The first set of campus interviews will be conducted on Oct. 8 and 9 with Dr. Anthony Vizzini, the Dean of the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Western Michigan University. (click here for Dr. Vizzini’s full CV).

The second set of interviews is scheduled for Oct. 10 and 11 with Dr. Christa Slaton, the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at New Mexico State University. (click here for Dr. Slaton’s full CV).

The third set of interviews will be conducted on Oct. 15 and 16 with Dr. Michelle Larson, the Vice Provost at Utah State University. (click here for Dr. Larson’s full CV).

More detailed announcements on the schedules and public meetings for the three candidates will be forthcoming shortly. We urge all members of the campus community to make every effort to come out and meet the candidates and to use the forms which will be made available at these forums to offer feedback on each individual.
