Webinar on underage drinking research is Oct. 2
You are invited to join the UND Alcohol and Other Drugs Committee for an Underage Drinking Research Webinar on Tuesday, Oct. 2, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. in the Badlands Room, Memorial Union.
Ralph Hingson, director of the Division of Epidemiology and Prevention Research for the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, will be the principal presenter during a free 90-minute webinar about underage drinking research that has been conducted since the 2007 Surgeon General's Call to Action to Prevent and Reduce Underage Drinking was published. The Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA) is the national host.
Please mark your calendars for the “Understanding Your Influence” Alcohol and Other Drugs Town Hall Meeting to be held Monday, Oct. 22, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Altru Building One, 860 S. Columbia Road. Join other community members in conversations about how we can use our influence to reduce the negative consequence of high risk alcohol and other drug use in our community.
