Final candidate for Provost and VP for Academic Affairs visits campus Oct. 15
Three candidates for the University of North Dakota’s Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs have been selected to visit campus for interviews.
The search is co-chaired by Lori Reesor, Vice President for Student Affairs, and Jim Mochoruk, History Professor and President, University Senate.
The candidates are:
- Dr. Anthony Vizzini, Dean, College of Engineering & Applied Sciences, Western Michigan University
- Dr. Christa Slaton, Dean, College of Arts & Sciences, New Mexico State University
- Dr. Michelle Larson, Vice Provost, Utah State University
Each candidate will give a 20 minute presentation on “Exceptional UND: The Future of Higher Education” at an open campus forum followed by a question and answer period. The forum is open to the campus community and the public to meet and greet the candidate.

3:30 – 4:30 p.m., Open Forum, Lecture Bowl, Memorial Union
4:30 – 5:00 p.m., Campus Reception, Fireside Lounge, Memorial Union
The visits of Anthony Vizzini and Christa Slaton are complete.
