Honors program rakes leaves for charity through October

Honors students are raking leaves this month to raise money for the Grand Forks Creating Strong Intelligence (CSI) After School Program, which provides a safe, fun, and free educational opportunity for children to socialize, learn, and get necessary help with school work. CSI: Grand Forks After School Program is located within two low-income housing complexes in Grand Forks.

For several years, Honors has been partnering with CSI on service-learning opportunities which provide its students with a valuable community-based educational experience while contributing to the mission of an important community organization.

Raking will be completed weekends in October for a free will offering. Anyone interested in scheduling a raking should e-mail or call 777.2219.
