Last candidate in EHD search to give presentation today

The EHD dean search committee has invited four finalists for campus visits in the search for the next Dean of the College of Education and Human Development.   Feedback forms, finalized schedules, and candidate curricula vitae are available on the EHD dean search web site at http://education.und.edu/dean-search/index.cfm.

Each will give a public presentation, with the suggested topic of “As you look ahead three or five years, what do you see as the most important opportunities and challenges on the horizon of a College of Education and Human Development? How would you, in the deanship at UND’s College of Education & Human Development, begin to approach them?”  A short reception will follow each candidate’s presentation.  The presentations and receptions are open to the public, and all are welcome to attend.

Each presentation will be broadcast via live stream.  You can access the live stream through this url at the date and time of each presentation at https://conted.breeze.und.nodak.edu/edudeansearch/

The final candidate, Jerry R. Thomas, dean, College of Education, University of North Texas, will have his ampus visit Nov. 15-16, with a public presentation Thursday, Nov. 15, 4:30 p.m. in EHD Room 7.

The visits for Cheryl D. Lovell, professor, Higher Education Program, Morgridge College of Education, University of Denver; Robert D. Hill, professor, Department of Educational Psychology, University of Utah; and Jeffrey B. Hecht, associate dean, College of Education, Northern Illinois University, have taken place.

Thank you in advance to our campus community and the faculty, staff, and students in the College of Education and Human Development for your participation in the finalists’ campus interviews.  The Search Committee appreciates your participation and welcomes your input.
