Share your artistic talent in support of the North Dakota Spirit Campaign
Show what North Dakota Spirit means to you by contributing your artistic interpretation to the Spirit Art Showcase & Silent Auction. As part of the 2013 North Dakota Spirit Week celebration, your artwork will help support North Dakota Spirit | The Campaign for UND in the area of the arts.
Your artwork contribution will help support UND art programs and student scholarships, as a minimum of 40 percent of each piece’s selling price will be gifted back to the North Dakota Spirit | The Campaign for UND. You may retain up to 60 percent of the sale price of your work(s).
All UND students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members are invited to submit artistic works created in a variety of mediums, including ceramics and glass, paintings, jewelry, fiber art, pottery, graphic design, sculpture, wood products, and photography. All artwork should be focused on the theme of North Dakota Spirit.
Artwork submitted by current UND students (as of February 2013) will be eligible for a Best in Show award that will be voted on by the UND community. The winner of this award will receive a $500 student scholarship courtesy of the UND Spirit Today Fund.
As a participating artist, you also will be invited to attend the Spirit Showcase & Art Auction on Tuesday, Feb. 26 at 5 p.m. in the Gorecki Alumni Center on the UND campus. You will be treated to complimentary hors d’oeuvres while networking with the local art, business, and UND community.
