Nonprofit leadership students host Tip Night Nov. 28
The Nonprofit Leadership Student Association (NLSA) is hosting a "Tip Night" at the Pizza Ranch (3750 32nd Ave S, Grand Forks) from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28.
Just print this article or mention it over the phone when ordering for carry out or delivery, and Pizza Ranch will donate 20 percent of the tip to NLSA so they can attend the Alliance Management Institute in January 2013 in Atlanta.
The Alliance Management Institute is a career development and networking symposium for college students, faculty and nonprofit professionals. Each year, the Alliance hosts more than 600 students, many of whom are about to graduate and start careers in the nonprofit sector. At AMI, students attend workshops taught by working nonprofit professionals, directly connect with nonprofits that hire, and participate in case study leadership service projects at local nonprofits – where they help agencies tackle strategic challenges.
The students in the Nonprofit Leadership Student Association work hard every year to raise funds to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity for career development. Information they take away from this experience enables them to become effective future nonprofit professionals in turn building the capacity of the social sector.
