Retirement reception will honor Sally Page Dec. 17

A retirement reception will honor Sally Page, Affirmative Action Officer, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17, at the Gorecki Alumni Center.  Sally received a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Iowa and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Southern Illinois, and has been with the University for 35 years in various capacities with the Affirmative Action Office.  She also served as a lecturer in the Department of Management from 1978 to 2009 and as a correspondence and IVN instructor for Continuing Education from 1983 to 2006.  While at UND, Sally served on or chaired a myriad of committees—both internally and system-wide – such as the ADA Advisory Committee, the Diversity Committee, the UND/NDUS Diversity Planning Committee, the NDUS Diversity Council, the Athletics Compliance Committee, the Athletics D-1 Transition Committee and the Equity, Welfare, and Sportsmanship Subcommittee.  Sally has also been a very active member of the Grand Forks community, serving on boards for Development Homes, the Grand Forks Housing Authority, and the Valley Memorial Homes Foundation Board and its subcommittees, as well as on the City of Grand Forks Civil Service Commission.  Please join us on December 17th from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Gorecki Alumni Center to wish Sally well as she starts a new phase of her life.
