Everson Family/Delta Gamma Lectureship in Values and Ethics set for March 25
The Alpha Theta chapter of Delta Gamma will host the first event for the Everson Family/Delta Gamma Lectureship in Values and Ethics at 7 p.m. Monday, March 25, in the Memorial Union Ballroom. This event is free and open to the public.
Michael Hingson is an international speaker who presents on trust, teamwork, leadership, diversity and inclusion to audiences worldwide. He is the New York Times best-selling author of Thunder Dog: The True Story of a Blind Man, His Guide Dog, and the Triumph of Trust at Ground Zero. Hingson, with the help of his guide dog, miraculously survived the Sept. 11, 2001, World Trade Center attacks.
He is also the national ambassador for the Braille Literacy Campaign. His life is a testimony to the power of trust, perseverance, and the amazing bond between humans and animals.
A book signing and meet and greet will follow the event.
