Retirement reception will honor Suezette Bieri March 7

Suezette Bieri will retire after more than 21 years of service to UND. She earned several degrees at UND: a B.A. in Sociology-Anthropology, an M.A. in Counseling and Guidance, and was one of the first to earn an M.S. in Space Studies.  She has been employed in the Department of Space Studies, serving as the deputy director of the North Dakota Space Grant Consortium, in a role to expand space education across the state.  Over the years, Suezette made several key contributions to the Space Grant Consortium’s progress, including well-run pre-service teacher training workshops, annual reporting, and support to numerous STEM initiatives across the state.  She maintained excellent rapport with consortium members and state legislators, and was instrumental in securing the state match funding for the ND Space Grant Consortium.

Please join us at a reception in her honor on Thursday, March 7, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the Space Studies library, 5th floor of Clifford Hall.  Cake and refreshments will be served.  Please help us wish her well in her retirement.
