Nominations sought for leadership awards; submission deadline is April 2

Nominations for the Lillian Elsinga Outstanding Student Leader Award, the Outstanding Student Organization Advisor Award, and the Outstanding Student Organization Award are now being accepted.

The Lillian Elsinga Outstanding Student Leader Award recognizes students who have exhibited exemplary leadership skills through their campus involvement, volunteer service efforts, on-campus employment, or other life experiences.

Due to the generosity of a former student leader, students selected to receive a Lillian Elsinga Outstanding Student Leader Award are eligible to apply for a leadership scholarship. Eligible students selected to receive the Lillian Elsinga Outstanding Student Leader Award will be contacted with information regarding the scholarship application process in early April.

The Outstanding Student Organization Advisor Award recognizes student organization advisors for their commitment and dedication to students and their campus involvement.

The Outstanding Student Organization Award recognizes student organizations that have contributed in a significant way to the University and Grand Forks community over the past year. Nominations for this award should come from members of the organization.

Recipients of the awards will be honored at the Leadership Awards Reception, to be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, April 26, in the Memorial Union Ballroom.
