PPT seminar April 5 features researcher from National Institute on Drug Abuse
Amy Hauck Newman, deputy scientific director and branch chief for Medicinal Chemistry, and Molecular Targets and Medications Discovery for the Intramural Research Program of the National Institute on Drug Abuse, will present a seminar titled "Translating the Atypical Dopamine Uptake Inhibitor Hypothesis: R-Modafinil as a Potential Medication for Psychostimulant Abuse” at 2 p.m. Friday, April 5, in the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, room 5510.
This seminar is sponsored by the Center of Biomedical Research Excellence Center for Neurodegenerative Disorder Research and the Department of Pharmacology, Physiology and Therapeutics. All are welcome to attend.
