Internet Explorer 10 may have compatibility issues
Microsoft recently released the latest version of their browser Internet Explorer 10. Internet Explorer users who have their browsers set to auto-update may already be using the newest version. As with any browser update, users may experience some compatibility issues with systems accessed through the web browser. If this occurs, Internet Explorer 10 can be uninstalled and Internet Explorer 9 will automatically be restored.
To check your browser version in Internet Explorer, click on Help from the menu at the top and select About Internet Explorer.
Follow these steps if you wish to uninstall Internet Explorer 10 and revert back to Internet Explorer 9:
- Click the “Start” button and type “Programs and Features” in the search box. Click on the “View installed updates” in the left pane of the menu.
- In the “Uninstall an update” screen, scroll to the “Microsoft Windows” section. Select Internet Explorer 10 and click “Uninstall.”
- It will take a while for the process to complete. A restart is necessary to complete the removal and restore Internet Explorer 9.
