Making an App for That: A conversation with on developing in-field applications for archaeology is April 5

Sam Fee, a global expert in education technology in the field of archaeology, will present the first talk in the Working Group in Digital and New Media’s Digital Humanities Month on Friday, April 5, at 11 a.m. in 203 O'Kelly Hall.

Professor Fee will discuss the development of the PKApp, a custom table and web application used by the Pyla-Koutsopetria Archaeological Project (PKAP) on Cyprus. The talk will be in the form of a conversation between William Caraher (History and PKAP director), Fee, and the audience, and range from current technology to the next frontier of infield data collection and analysis applications.
