Attend April 9 HLC Open Forum about Resources, Planning and Institutional Effectiveness
The University of North Dakota is embarking on the process of self-study and reporting for reaccreditation by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). Your participation in the self-study process is crucial for UND’s reaccreditation process and to make UND exceptional.
All faculty, staff and students are invited to the HLC Open Forum to learn about the preliminary results of the self-study:
Criterion 5 – Resources, Planning and Institutional Effectiveness
Tuesday, April 9, 3 to 4 p.m., Memorial Union, River Valley Room 206
Or participate online.
For the Criterion 5 self-study, we consider whether:
- We have and use sufficient resources (i.e., fiscal and personnel) and infrastructure (i.e., physical and technological).
- We have appropriate governance and administrative structures for effective leadership and collaboration
- We engage in effective planning and resource allocation.
- We demonstrate efforts to continuously improve our University.
We examine how well we fulfill our mission, improve the quality of our educational offerings, and respond to future challenges and opportunities.
A draft of the Criterion 5 self-study report will be available at UND.edu/hlc for download by the start of the HLC Open Forum on April 9.
Your feedback is due April 16.
