Nominations for the Robert H. Boyd Healthy UND Champion Award due April 30
The Healthy UND Coalition is seeking nominations for the Robert H. Boyd Healthy UND Champion Award. The award recognizes the achievements of individuals, departments, or groups who have worked to improve health and wellness for students, faculty, and staff. Named for the former Vice President of Students Affairs at UND, the Robert H. Boyd Healthy UND Champion Award will be presented at the Healthy UND Coalition annual meeting in the fall.
Consideration will be given to those who have: 1) Demonstrated work in partnership to promote healthy lifestyle choices by enhancing awareness, building skills, changing social norms, and creating a healthier environment, and 2) Emphasized any or all seven dimensions of wellness including physical, emotional, social, spiritual, occupational, intellectual, and environmental dimensions.
The nomination should address the following: 1) Why the individual, department, or group should be considered for the award; 2) the nominee's accomplishments; and 3) the key outcomes and achievements of the program, policy, contribution, or initiative championed by the nominee. Emphasis will be given to programs that demonstrate creativity, innovation, leadership, sustainability, and effectiveness.

Nominations are due no later than 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 30. Letters of nomination and supporting materials may be delivered to the Health and Wellness Hub, 2901 University Ave., Stop 8262, Grand Forks, ND 58202, or e-mailed to UND.edu/hwHub.
