CoBPA to host financial education seminar April 24
The College of Business and Public Administration will be hosting a TIAA-CREF financial education seminar from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, in Gamble Hall, room 5.
Take three important steps to identify potential areas for saving money: 1) Reduce the taxes you pay on earnings, 2) Reduce the amount you spend, and 3) Make ’tax-smart’ choices to keep more of what you earn.
The seminar will cover:
Effective withholding strategies
Providing asset allocation options to help you plan for – and live well in – retirement
Tax-favored financial products
Roth and Traditional IRAs
Basic investment strategies
