Departments can register now for Involvement Expo

The Student Involvement and Leadership Office will coordinate the UND Involvement Expo from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28. The Involvement Expo provides a unique setting to promote student organizations, campus departments, and local businesses. Departments are encouraged to take part in this once-a-year opportunity to show new students what the campus and the community have to offer.

As a reminder, Involvement Expo takes place at the “Heart of UND,” in front of the Memorial Union. In case of inclement weather, the Expo will be held at the Hyslop Sports Center main arena. Each registrant is assigned one table and two chairs to promote their group. Participating departments are encouraged to be creative in designing their tables/booths, as this event is meant to be as fun and as informal as possible. The more enthusiasm exhibited at tables and the amount of clear information you can provide will ultimately attract students to your display.

This year, registration will be online; please indicate any special needs on the registration form. Electrical outlets are limited and will therefore be assigned on a first come, first served basis. If your department wishes to participate in 2013 Fall Involvement Expo, please fill out the registration form by Friday, July 26.  It should take just a couple of minutes to complete and can be found at .

Please note that recognized student organizations are registered in a separate process. Student organization leaders and advisors have received information on how to register in separate emails.

For participating departments, set-up will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28.
