“As a community-based medical school, the UND School of Medicine and Health Sciences relies on almost 1,000 part-time or volunteer faculty in over 30 communities throughout the state to educate medical students and residents,” said Joshua Wynne, vice president for health affairs and dean of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences.

“Two out of three of the state’s physicians assist the school in teaching the patient-centered curriculum and conducting performance-based assessments of the professional competence of the 258 students enrolled in the four-year Doctor of Medicine program,” Wynne said.
