CRC to host team development workshop Aug. 13
Is your team headed for disaster or are you on the road to success? In the workplace, great teams address conflict, foster trust, are committed to one another and the organization, are held accountable and they get results. Attend this single day training to assess the functioning of your team and learn ways to be more effective, productive and functionally healthy so that you are getting the most out of your team and its members.
During this session, you will:
- Work on defining a “team” and how to capitalize on strengths and manage weaknesses
- Identify the contributing elements of a dysfunctional team
- Explore employee engagement and ways to support each member of your team
- Learn tools to deal with the “difficult” team member and create a collaborative working environment
The training will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, in Grand Forks (location TBD). The cost is $75 for staff and faculty. Call 777.3664 or visit UND.edu/centers/conflict-resolution/home/schedule.cfm to register.
