Pasch appointed to board of directors for national Canadian studies association
Timothy Pasch, Communication/English, has been appointed to the Executive Council of the Association for Canadian Studies in the United States (ACSUS).
Pasch will serve as Council for Communication and Arctic Affairs from 2014-2016.
ACSUS publishes the peer-reviewed Routledge Journal ARCS (American Review of Canadian Studies) and holds a biennial conference.
The Association was formally established at Duke University in 1971, and until 1975 was managed through the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) of the Johns Hopkins University.
In 1982, ACSUS established its secretariat in Washington, D.C., and is presently located at 2030 M Street NW across the hall from the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs.
