GF Library schedules public input meeting
The Grand Forks Public Library Working Group will hold a public input meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 11, at the Grand Forks City Hall Council Chambers. The input session is open to anyone interested in offering input about the future of the Grand Forks Public Library. The meeting will be televised live on GFTV cable channel 2.
The July 11 meeting agenda will include a brief presentation of background information about the library and the Library Working Group task force, followed by a group discussion of priorities for the future of the Grand Forks Public Library.
The Library Working Group was established to help the community make a decision about the library's future, given the need for upgrades to continue operations. The task force is made up of citizens representing a wide variety of groups, interests, and community organizations from both the public and private sectors.
In addition to the July 11 public meeting, the task force is now conducting a series of public conversations about the future of the library in small group meetings and online. A public online input survey is available at http://bit.ly/gflibrary.
