Farewell reception will honor Patricia Campbell Sept. 19

Please join us in wishing a fond farewell to Pat Campbell, Physician Assistant for Student Health Services, on Thursday, Sept. 19, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Dakota Lounge 220 (located by North Ballroom) in the Memorial Union.

Pat has held two roles during her time at UND Student Health Services, first as the Health Care Analyst, and more recently as a Physician Assistant. Degree conferred as a Physician Assistant – Certified in May 2008. In 2004 she was hired in a Health Care Analyst role to serve as division HIPAA manager, QI coordinator and AAAHC accreditation coordinator. She also served a term as Interim Work Well Advisor.

As part of Pat’s community involvement, she served as a Board Member for Valley Family Planning & WIC (2010 – present); was a Chamber Leadership Graduate, 2010; and held various offices with the Greater Grand Forks Dietetic Association.

Prior to this time she worked as a Nutrition Field Coordinator with the Center for Health Promotion and Translation Research (CHPTR), Department of Community Medicine with the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences (2001-2006). Pat also served as a Dietitian at Camp Sioux for Children with Type I Diabetes Mellitus (June 2003, June 2002, and July 1999).

She was employed as a Clinical Dietitian from 1990-2004 at the Rehab Hospital (formerly UND Medical Center Rehabilitation Hospital) Nutrition Services and served as an Instructor for undergraduate nutrition courses with the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at UND from 1995-2002.

Pat has been offered and accepted a position as a Clinical Coordinator at the U of Wisconsin – La Crosse Gunderson Lutheran – Mayo Clinic Physician Assistant Program in La Crosse, WI.  Please join us as we wish her well.
