Concert Choir performs Oct. 18

The Concert Choir performs Friday, Oct. 18, at 8 p.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in East Grand Forks.  The program includes music from across the globe in languages that include Russian, Spanish, Latin and German.  Tickets are available at the door:  $6 for adults, $3 for students and $12 for a family of four.

Concert Choir, the top choral group at UND, consists of around 50 members who audition each year.  The members come from across campus including both music majors and non-music majors from such fields as psychology, business, engineering and aviation.  They have performed across the country and in Europe as well.

In May 2014 the UND Concert Choir will tour Cuba.  The experience will include singing with the National Cuban Choir.  Each ticket sold at the Oct. 18 concert will help support their trip and ensure that all members have the opportunity to go.  For more information, visit their fundraising campaign at
