Solberg named chief of staff for the Office of the Dean at School of Medicine and Health Sciences

Judy Solberg, has been named chief of staff for the Office of the Dean at the School of Medicine and Health Sciences (SMHS).

In her new position, she will serve as advisor to the School of Medicine and Health Sciences Vice President for Health Affairs and Dean Joshua Wynne. Solberg will act as a project manager and be a communication link with other UND officials and staff, as well as the operational liaison between the dean’s office and the Office of Academic and Faculty Affairs and the Office of Alumni and Community Relations.

“I am delighted with the opportunity to serve the school and the people of North Dakota,” said Solberg.

Solberg joined the School of Medicine and Health Sciences in 2007 as the assistant to the executive associate dean. Before joining the SMHS, she worked for the UND Dean of Students Office. She earned a Master of Public Administration from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minn., and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UND. Solberg lives on a farm near Aneta with her husband Kevin and children Kade and Meredith.
