"The Many Aspects of Diabetes Care" will be held May 13 at the Alerus Center. It is geared toward the health professional who cares for people with diabetes. The purpose of this conference is to provide recommendations for the best practices to improve diabetes care.

North Dakota Nurses: Application for 6 contact hours has been made. Altru Health System is an approved provide of continuing nursing education by the Washington State Nurses Association Continuing Education Approval & Recognition Program (CEARP), an accredited approver by the American Nurses
Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Minnesota Nurses: This program is designed to meet the Minnesota Board of Nursing criteria for contact hours. However, it is the responsibility of the participants to ascertain if an offering meets the requirements for acceptable continuing education. Participants will be provided the materials required by the Minnesota Board of Nursing for verification of participation.
Physicians: Altru Health System is accredited by the North Dakota Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Altru Health System designates this education activity for a maximum of 5.25 credit hours in Category 1 credit towards the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award.
